Title
The roots of the word “Siwa” are of Komi-Permian origin. Si is hair, wa is water, siva is hairy water.
Geography
It is located in the eastern part of the Verkhnekamsk Upland in the middle reaches of the Siva River.
History
Siwa arose at the end of the XVIII century. as the center of the fiefdom of the landowner V. A. Vsevolozhsky . Initially - the village of Altyntsy, then the village of Sivinskoe. Since 1836 - the village of Sivinskoe.
