Two long beeps in the fog

The film takes place in the early 1980s in one of the northern regions of the USSR.
The An-2 seaplane, carrying a large amount of money in collection bags, was forced to make an unplanned landing on Lake Ayak due to the release of oil from the exhaust pipes and reduced visibility so that the crew could drain the oil. The landing area was uninhabited, and a sudden gale of wind suddenly plucked and carried the aircraft without a crew across the water, and the collector was killed. An-2 discovers the unknown. He takes part of the money, burns the plane and kills an accidental geologist witness.
At the same time, the Anadyr passenger ship, with the last few passengers, makes its last voyage this year along the Yangoda River - navigation ends due to the coming winter. Thick fog makes the ship anchor in the middle of the river and periodically give two long beeps to prevent collisions with other vessels.
All action takes place in the area of ​​the northern river, in complete isolation from the rest of the world, far from civilization. Meanwhile, there is a murder on board, to which one of the passengers of the ship was involved. The captain of the ship decides to start his own investigation and search for the offender, since he will probably cover his tracks and endanger the life of the entire crew.
