“ Cosmonaut Viktor Patsaev ” is a research vessel named after cosmonaut Viktor Patsaev . Currently located in the Museum of the World Ocean in Kaliningrad . The main tasks of the vessel were the reception and analysis of telemetric data and the provision of radio communications between spacecraft and the Mission Control Center .

Content
History
- The ship was built in 1968 at the Leningrad Shipbuilding Plant named after Zhdanov as a timber carrier “ Semyon Kosinov ”.
- There, in 1978, it was rebuilt and converted into a research vessel. Chief Designer B.P. Ardashev .
- On November 24, 1978, the pennant of the USSR Academy of Sciences was lifted on the vessel - the vessel became part of the SC OMER of the USSR Academy of Sciences (Space Research Services of the Department of Marine Expeditionary Works of the USSR Academy of Sciences).
- During the operation period from 1979 to 1994, 14 research flights were completed, during which time work was carried out with the spacecraft Salyut-6 , Soyuz-34 , Salyut-7 , Lightning-1T , Soyuz -T5 , Soyuz-T8 , Soyuz-T9 , Soyuz-T10 , Soyuz-T11 , Progress-24 , etc.
- In 2001, moored at the pier of the Museum of the World Ocean . To date (2016), standing at the pier, carries out work on receiving telemetric information and providing communications with spacecraft, including the International Space Station (ISS).
- Starting in 2014, in connection with the commissioning of the Baltic Command and Measurement Point (Kaliningrad Region), it is planned to decommission the ship. Ship veterans are looking for opportunities to save a unique ship.
- In August 2015, the Kaliningrad Oblast Administration recognized the identified object of cultural heritage [1] .
- In July 2016, by order of the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, the vessel was included in the unified state register of objects of cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia of federal significance [2] .
