Sophie Oduin-Mamikonian ( Sophie Audouin-Mamikonian , born August 24, 1961) is a French writer of Armenian descent, the author of a series of books about Tara Duncan, based on which an animated series was produced in France (produced by Moonscoop, Disney and M6). In 2011, books were translated into 17 languages, more than 7 million copies were sold [2] [3] [4] .

Sophie Oduen-Mamikonyan is the heir to the throne of the ancient kingdom of Armenia and bears the title of His Royal High Princess Sophie Oduen-Mamikonyan.
Biography
Sophie Oduin-Mamikonyan was born on August 24, 1961 in Saint-Jean-de-Luz . Married, has two daughters: Diana and Marina. Has a higher diplomatic education. Oduin Mamikonian began writing the story of Tara Duncan in 1987 for her daughters. Books for a long time did not want to publish because of the large volume that was not accepted for literature for adolescents. The situation changed after the release of Harry Potter, and in 2003 the first book about Tara Duncan was published [2] [5] .
