History

Founded in 1990 .

In April 2007, the company held an IPO , during which it sold 23.4% of the shares. The capitalization of the company as of the end of April 2007 was $ 856.3 million. By the middle of October 2008, the capitalization of Nutritek decreased almost 15 times - to $ 58 million, and the company management announced its intention to delist shares on the RTS and on the MICEX [1] .

Financial difficulties

By the end of 2009, Nutritek was able to reach an agreement on the first restructuring plan with only 65% ​​of lenders and holders of securities. By June 2010, Nutritek announced that it did not have the means to pay off all groups of creditors. [2]

In July-September 2010, JSC Nutrinvestholding failed to fulfill a number of obligations to redeem securities [3] .

In July 2010, a lawsuit was filed with the Moscow Arbitration Court for bankruptcy of the parent company Nutritek (OJSC Nutrinvestholding) [2] . Since January 2011, the company has begun the withdrawal of its main assets to Nutrimed Laboratories, to the company Baby and Dairy Products. The withdrawal of assets from the management company of Nutrinvestholding OJSC and the company TK Detskoe i Specialnoy Nutrition (guarantor of Nutrinvestholding OJSC) is planned to be completed by the end of 2011.

Activity

The Nutritek Group produces baby food , powdered milk , whole milk products, drinking water, and others. The company owns six enterprises in Russia (including the Dinskoy cannery in the Krasnodar Territory , the Nutritek plant in Istra , outside Moscow), in Estonia and New Zealand [5] .

The group's turnover in 2004 was about $ 200 million. Revenue for the 2007 fiscal year ended March 31, 2008 was $ 396.9 million, EBITDA $ 75.8 million [6]
