Vladimir Alekseevich Zasyadko ( April 24, 1919 - March 1, 1944 ) - chief of artillery of the 209th Guards Rifle Regiment of the 73rd Guards Stalingrad Rifle Division of the 7th Guards Army of the Steppe Front , guards senior lieutenant, Hero of the Soviet Union . He was awarded the Order of Lenin , the Order of the Red Banner , the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree .

Biography
Vladimir Zasyadko was born on April 24, 1919 in the city of Kharkov in a working class family. Ukrainian . He graduated from the Kazakh Mining and Metallurgical Institute in Alma-Ata [1] .
Since August 1941 he served in the Red Army . He graduated in 1942 from the Alma-Ata Military Infantry School. Since March 1942 - on the fronts of World War II, in the same year he joined the CPSU (B.) [1] .
On September 25, 1943, the artillery chief of the 209th Guards Rifle Guards Regiment, senior lieutenant Vladimir Zasyadko, during battles for the Dnieper in the vicinity of the village of Borodaevka (Verkhnedneprovsky district of the Dnepropetrovsk region of the Ukrainian SSR ) was able to transport artillery batteries with materiel at hand. On September 26-27, the artillerymen under his command were able to repel 8 enemy counterattacks and inflicted great damage in manpower and equipment. October 16, they contributed to the liberation of the eastern part of the village of Borodayevka [1] .
On October 26, 1943, by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR for exemplary performance of combat missions of the command on the front of the fight against Nazi invaders and the courage and heroism of the guard shown, Senior Lieutenant Zasyadko Vladimir Alekseevich was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the Order of Lenin and the Golden Medal The Star ” (No. 1364) [1] .
March 1, 1944 during the fighting in the Kirovograd region Vladimir Zasyadko was mortally wounded. He was buried in an urban village of Petrovo, Kirovograd region [1] .
