Description
Automation gun Benelli M4 Super 90 works by removing gases from the barrel into two gas cylinders symmetrically located under the barrel.
The illustration attached to the article presents a civilian version of the weapon, a shortened magazine with 4 rounds indicates this (the number of rounds is limited by a jumper). The arms laws of some US states prohibit civilian circulation of smoothbore weapons with a magazine capacity of more than 4 rounds and a telescopic butt. Benelli M4 Super 90 semi-automatic smoothbore shotgun (shotgun) is sold on the Russian civilian market in a complete set that is completely similar to the configuration of the American army shotgun M1014.

- Australia : in June 2009 a batch of guns was ordered in the amount of 124 718.38 US dollars [1] .
- Great Britain : adopted by the British Army under the name L128A1 [2] .
- Greece : Used by special forces.
- Georgia : Used by special forces [3] [4] .
- Iraq : Used by special forces [3] .
- Ireland : some entered the ranks of the rangers of the Army of Ireland (" Sciathán Fianóglach an Airm ") [5] .
- Italy : armed with special forces Gruppo di Intervento Speciale carabinieri corps
- Libya : in 2009 1800 pcs. was purchased in Italy [6] .
- Lithuania : Used by special forces [3] .
- Malaysia : used by the Royal Customs of Malaysia [7] .
- Malta [3]
- Slovakia : in service with a special unit of the customs service of the Ministry of Finance of Slovakia [8] [9] .
- Slovenia : Used by special forces [10] .
- USA : Heckler & Koch USA, inc. Imports to the USA. Since 1999, it has been adopted by the US Marine Corps under the name M1014 [11] ; in the second half of 2001, 20 thousand units were ordered for the marines and special forces. [12] ; used by the US Army , SEAL [13] , Los Angeles Police Department [14] .
