Heinz Freudenthal ( German: Heinz Freudenthal ; April 25, 1905 , Danzig - May 29, 1999 , Munich ) - German violist and conductor of Jewish origin. The son of the chief rabbi of Nuremberg .

He graduated from the Würzburg Higher School of Music ( 1927 ). In 1927 - 1928 viola player in Meiningen , from 1928 to 1936 . - at the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra . In 1936 - 1953 Chief Conductor of the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra . In 1954 - 1961 led the Israel Radio Symphony Orchestra .
