History

The forerunner of the temple was a Catholic chapel, located nearby (at the address: Volgogradskaya St., 41) and built in 1992 at the Polish National Cultural Center by the priest Bogdan Severinik and the nuns-sisters- Loretans . The chapel had an electronic organ , carved crucifixes, a small stained glass window. The temple itself was built later, in 1995 - 1997 in the Neo - Gothic style. The altar of the temple was consecrated in honor of the holy apostles, who, according to the Catholic tradition, preached in the Caucasus .
