Wormwing , or kaguany [1] ( lat. Dermoptera ) - a detachment of woody placental mammals found in Southeast Asia . It has only two modern views.

On the ground, the winged wings move slowly. They are most adapted to planning, but they cannot fly. When jumping, the planning range reaches 140 m. Wormwing is planned using a dense, fur- covered membrane that connects all the limbs, tail and neck of these animals. The skin membrane is stretched between the front and hind limbs, starting from the neck, behind the ears, on the sides of the body and ending at the tip of the tail.

The body length of the winged wing is 36–43 cm, and the mass is up to 2 kg. The head is small, with large eyes, perfectly adapted for binocular vision . On the bare soles of the paws, there are flat platforms forming suction discs. The incisors are flattened, the extreme ones look like scallops. Sternum - with a small keel.

Wingstorms feed on foliage of trees and fruits.

Classification

According to the generally accepted classification, woolly wings are allocated to the independent order Dermoptera, which, together with primates, belongs to the monophyletic group Primatomorpha [2] . There are 2 modern [3] and 5 fossil genera [4] in the order of woolly-winged animals:
