Karpinskaya, Svetlana Alekseevna

Svetlana Alekseevna Karpinskaya ( September 16, 1937 , Leningrad , RSFSR , USSR - February 18, 2017 , St. Petersburg , Russia ) was a Soviet and Russian film and theater actress. People's Artist of the Russian Federation ( 2009 ) [2] .

Biography

Svetlana Karpinskaya was born on September 16, 1937 in Leningrad . Her parents were history teachers. My father fought on the Leningrad front and was wounded. Mother was the head of the school in the evacuation, and relatives survived the blockade. School graduated in Leningrad.

She studied at the Faculty of Philology of Leningrad State University (Department of Russian Language and Literature).

In 1957, having no acting education, she starred in the lead role in the Eldar Ryazanov film “The Girl without an Address ”. After that, she was accepted immediately to the second course of the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema in the class of Professor B. V. Zona .

Since 1963, she served at the LTK Akimov's LTK .

Svetlana Karpinskaya died on February 18, 2017 after a serious illness, due to which the year did not appear on the theater stage [3] . She was buried on February 22 at the Smolensk cemetery [4] .
