The name was given on January 16, 1964 in honor of the city of Prague , the capital of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic [1] .

History

It was laid and began to be built up in the mid -1960s with 5- and 9-storey panel houses [2] .

It was originally divided into two parts by the Volkovka River, which then walked along the current Turku Street . The bed was filled up in the 1970s , then the street was landscaped and a trolley bus was launched.

In the 1980 - 1990s, near the Avenue of Glory , an area was formed in front of the Administration of the Frunze District .
