Name Origin
The name "Molostovy Street" in 1969 was given to a new street that arose during the mass development of the eastern outskirts of Moscow (earlier, since 1963, a street with this name existed in Perovo , located near the Perovo railway station - between Plekhanov and Plushenko Streets, but in 1968 it was abolished). The title commemorates the workers of the Perovsky car repair shops of the brothers Vasily and Kuzma Molostovs who participated in the labor movement and in the December armed uprising of 1905 in Moscow; after the punitive expedition of the Semenovsky Life Guards Regiment sent to Moscow began to operate on the Moscow-Kazan Railway , the brothers who left the house for a walk punished the punishers with bayonets [1] .
History
Until 1968, there was a forest on the site of the street surrounding the village of Ivanovskoye [1] . A street was built along with Prokatnaya , Sayanskaya and Stalevarov street . On the EIRC building there is a memorial plaque in memory of the Molostov brothers.
