Zabelino is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Safonovsky district . The population is 4 inhabitants ( 2007 ) [1] . It is located in the central part of the region 10 km east of the city of Safonov , 2.5 km south of the Belarus highway M1 , on the right bank of the Dnieper. 2.5 km east of the village is the 300th km railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line . It is part of the Durovsky rural settlement .

History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in September 1941 , liberated in 1943 . [2]
