Leonid Efimovich Bergoltsev (born 1932 , Odessa ) is a Soviet photographer .

Biography
From the age of three he lived in Moscow . After graduating from the Institute of Urban Construction Engineers with a diploma of a mechanical engineer, he worked as a chief mechanic in Remstroytrest.
In 1957, he began to collaborate with Soviet magazines Moscow News, Neues Leben (an appendix to the Pravda newspaper for Soviet Germans). Since 1958 - a permanent photographer of the magazine "Soviet Union" .
Member of the Union of Photographers of Moscow since 1989, member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR since 1960.
In the Soviet years, he headed the photo section at the City Committee of graphic artists (Malaya Gruzinskaya, 28) and the Union of Photographers of Moscow (since 1989).
Since June 26, 1996 he lives in Washington ( USA ).
