Produced by the Brazilian company Embraer . The first flight was made on October 26, 1968 . Can carry up to 21 passengers. Mass production ceased in 1991 . Embraer has developed many modifications of the EMB 110 aircraft.
The EMB 110 was developed under the program of the Brazilian Ministry of Aeronautics. The designer was French aviation engineer Max Holste (Max Holste).
The name Bandeirante means Portuguese settlers who moved deep into the mainland and gradually mastered Brazil, like the American pioneers in the United States.

Accidents and Incidents
According to the Aviation Safety Network website as of March 15, 2019, a total of 98 Embraer EMB-110 Bandeirante aircraft were lost as a result of accidents and serious accidents. [2] Embraer EMB-110 attempted to hijack 3 times, while no one died. In total, 558 people died in these incidents. [3]
