List of Motorola Cell Phone Models
A-Series
The series consists mainly of expensive, functional smartphones and business class communicators . Most devices have touch control and a hinged, transparent flip cover.
The series began in 1999 with the A6188 , which then developed into the Accompli line. Development of Accompli ideas, received devices on the EZX platform, and have kept the concept until now.

C-Series
The series consists of budget, not expensive phones. The C350 model opened (the C1xx series models, oddly enough, appeared later), which at the time of its release was almost the only one on the market with a color display.
Thanks to this and a very low price, the device has gained immense popularity, and paved the way for the following models of the series. Among other well-known models of the series, the equally popular C650 and C975 / C980 can be noted.

E-Series
Not very expensive phones aimed at listening to music, the target audience of which is young people. One of the most famous models of the series was the E398 - having two powerful stereo speakers, the device was known as a real “tape recorder in your pocket”. Another famous model was the E680, which largely repeated the fate of the E398, only in the Asian market. Its successor, the E690, has been renamed and released as the ROKR E6 .
Equally well-known are UMTS devices E770 and E1000 , which were successfully sold in the market of Western Europe. However, the subsequent potentially successful models E1060 and E1120 did not get into widespread production.
Subsequently, the E-series was completely replaced by the ROKR line

M Series
The modern M-series is a small line of clone machines of European models for the FOMA service of the Japanese operator NTT DoCoMo .
Only the M702iG model is interesting , which externally is a copy of the RAZR V3x , but its hardware is equivalent to the RAZR² V9 model.
The M702iS is a full copy of the RAZR V3xx , and the M1000 is almost a full copy of the A1000 , only with WiFi instead of aGPS, and a slightly different design.

MPx Series
A series consisting of smartphones and communicators based on Windows Mobile . He opened the MPx200 series (previously this smartphone was announced as a Motorola V700) and, despite the weak characteristics and the outdated version of the OS, at the time of release it gained great popularity due to its low price. The subsequent models were postponed several times and as a result the MPx100 was canceled, the MPx220 got a limited edition in some regions at a "space" price, and the MPx communicator, which caused a lot of noise, was canceled, however, a large batch of already manufactured devices were sold in Asia. (According to some reports, it was produced later for this region.) On this series they turned it off and the planned MPx230 and MPx 2 did not even get into development. The MPx series has been completely replaced by the new QWERTY series of smartphones - Q.

KRZR (K-Series)
One of the lines created in search of a second gold mine. This time, it is not only thin, but also narrow RAZR .
The concept did not receive any special attention on the market, and therefore, having released only two models, they safely forgot about it.

PEBL (U-Series)
A pebble - this is how you can characterize the phones of this series. Trying to create another fashion phone like the RAZR V3 . The first model was announced as PEBL V6, but by the time it went on sale it was renamed PEBL U6. With a starting price of $ 1,000, the device failed miserably, and in order to somehow pay for its development, the company quickly decided to rivet various colors, what transferred him to the category of cheap consumer goods.
The PEBL U3 model also entered the North American market. On this, the existence of the series actually ended. Two years later, the new U9 model was immediately identified in the ROKR line, despite the absence of even a hint of the presence of any musical abilities. Model JEWEL U9 - is essentially the same MOTO U9 , only in a different case.

RAZR (V, VE-series)
A line of thin, fashionable clamshells, the beginning of which was laid by the legendary RAZR V3 , which simply blew up the mobile technology market. It is believed that this particular phone began to lead the company out of the crisis.
During the production of RAZR, at least ten different modifications of the original V3 were released - V3c, V3t, V3r, etc., which differed both externally and in hardware. No less successful restyled model V3i also appeared in several versions, among which the most famous RAZR V3i D&G and RAZR V3i iTunes . The last real RAZR was the RAZR maxx V6 model and its version in the more “traditional” RAZR V3xx case. Models from the “new” line of RAZR² completely lost touch in design with the original V3 model and, despite good advertising, sold not in the best way. The developed VE1 did not get into wide production.

RIZR (Z-Series)
The line of phones in the slider form factor (which determines the “Z” index in the name). The beginning of the lineup was asked by the RIZR Z3 , but in the subsequent lineup they disbanded for unknown reasons. The RIZR Z6 model was inexplicably ranked among the musical ROKR , while the Z8 and Z10 models were completely left without specific positioning and officially appear with the prefix “MOTO”.

ROKR (E, EM-series)
A series of music phones designed to replace the E-series . Unlike its predecessors, all the musicality in these devices is the presence of a standard 3.5 jack for headphones and nothing more.
The founder of the series - ROKR E1 failed in sales, because it was just a converted E398 and had a "space" price for rather meager technical characteristics. ROKR E2 did not go beyond the Asian market because it was very not optimized and worked unstably . The ROKR E3 was canceled almost immediately (presumably due to controversial design and terrible ergonomics). ROKR E6 hit the series by accident. Initially, it was supposed to be called E690, but because of its musical abilities are mediocre. Thus, the only mass and close to the initial concept of the E398 is the ROKR E8 and its budget version EM30 .

SLVR (L-Series)
A series of "thin" monoblocks, created on the wave of popularity of RAZR . The first phone in the series was originally announced under the name SLVR V8, however, it was renamed SLVR L7 by the time it went on sale.
Initially, it was not the most affordable phone, therefore, almost simultaneously with it, budget versions of V270 and V280 were designed, which were put on sale and were renamed to L2 and L6, respectively.

V-Series
A series of expensive business-class phones in a clamshell form factor. The direct descendants of the world's first phone in this form-factor are Motorola StarTAC .
Among the well-known models of the series can be noted the once popular V60i , the world's first phones in the form factor rotator V70 and V80, and of course the RAZR V3 . However, V3 opened a new line - RAZR , which subsequently completely replaced the V-series. The latest model in the series, the V1150, hit the market already as the RAZR V3x .

Motorola.
