Engine location
Developed jointly by the German consortium Vereinigte Flugtechnische Werke (VFW) and Fokker . The first flight took place on July 14, 1971 . A total of 16 aircraft were built. A distinctive feature of the aircraft was the location of the engines - on pylons above the wing.
