Biography
Born May 15, 1825 . On August 10, 1844, the Jaeger Regiment was released from the Page Corps as a warrant officer in the Life Guards , with whom, in 1849, during complications in Hungary , he traveled to the western borders of the Russian Empire .
With the outbreak of the Eastern War , Danilov was sent to the Danube Army and was appointed commander of the 1st company of the Odessa Infantry Regiment . At the head of it, Danilov took part in the battle of Chetat, in which he was shell-shocked by the core and awarded the Order of St. 4th degree Vladimir with swords and bow. Then, in the ranks of the same regiment, he took part in the defense of Sevastopol .
In 1859, Danilov was appointed to the Life Guards Semyonovsky Regiment . Produced in 1860 as a colonel, Danilov in 1863 was given the command of the Little Russian Grenadier Regiment and participated with him, being part of the forces of the Vilna Military District, in suppressing the Polish rebellion .
On October 1, 1868, Danilov was promoted to major general with the appointment of assistant chief of the 3rd Grenadier Division , in 1871 he was appointed a member of the committee for the formation and formation of troops, June 6, 1872 - he was enlisted in the retinue of his imperial majesty and in 1877 . appointed commander of the 3rd Grenadier Division.
At the head of this division, Danilov took part in the war with Turkey , and for the battle on November 28, 1877 near Plevna, the next day he was awarded the Order of St. George , 4th degree

For crossing the Balkans Danilov was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir of the 2nd degree with swords (in 1879) and on April 16, 1878 was promoted to lieutenant general .
On June 5, 1884, Danilov was appointed head of the 1st Guards Infantry Division , on January 19, 1889 - commander of the 1st Army Corps , and May 26, 1896 - assistant to the commander of the Moscow Military District, Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich, and in 1898 was granted the General adjutant to His Imperial Majesty. On June 3, 1903 he was appointed a member of the Military Council. In addition, Danilov was chairman of the Moscow department of the Red Cross Society .
December 25, 1903, on the day of the 50th anniversary of the battle of Chetat, Danilov, with a special Highest Rescript, was enlisted in the 48th Odessa Infantry Regiment and was appointed chief of his 1st company.
Among other awards, Danilov had the Order of St. Stanislav 1st degree (1870), St. Anna 1st degree (1874), White Eagle (1880) and St. Alexander Nevsky with diamond signs.
He died on January 17, 1906 in the city of Moscow .
