Carrantuil [1] (obsolete - Carrantuill [2] , English Carrauntoohil [3] / ˌ k ær ə n ˈ t uː l / , ill . Corrán Tuathail ) - the peak in the McGillicaddis Ricks mountains in the county of Kerry , the highest point Ireland . The height of Carrantuil is 1041 m. A large metal cross with a height of 5 m is installed on the mountain.

Carranthuel is a fairly popular destination on hiking trails. Despite the high avalanche hazard and flowability of the slopes, to climb the mountain does not require special climbing equipment.
