Biography

Born February 10, 1960. After college, he was engaged in a professional game of polo and worked as a horseback riding coach.

In 1976, he began playing at the Michael Croft National Youth Theater in London . After some time, Robert starred in the film with the participation of Richard Burton “ Absolution ” - this was his first role in the movie .

After studying for one year at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Robert Eddie left school to play the role of Mordred in John Bormann 's Excalibur . Then he starred in many films on television and in movies, the most famous of which were “ Robin of Sherwood ” and “ Another Country ”.

In 1989, Robert Eddie left acting for personal reasons.

After several years of living in the USA and Spain, he returned to England and again started working in 1995, playing in theaters in the south of England, and again began working on television and in the movies. His best recent works are roles in the films The New Adventures of Robin Hood, A Knight in Camelot, Mary, Mother of Jesus. A small role in the widely known film " Intimacy " was his last work in the movie.

Robert Eddie lived in his homeland in Gloucestershire , spending free time reading books and playing golf .

He is the father of three children, was married and divorced three times. He was fluent in Spanish and fairly good in French, was an expert on horses, an excellent swordsman and archer.

Robert Eddy passed away on November 20, 2003, after a brief fight with lung cancer , at the age of 43.
