Klimovo (estate)

Klimovo Manor is the family estate of Engelhardt , 31 km from the city of Yartsevo .

The estate was located in the village of Klimovo, Dukhovschinsky district (now Yartsevo district ). It was founded at the end of the 18th century by a retired guard, Lieutenant Petr Platonovich Engelhardt . There was a large manor house, office and farm buildings, a large park with a system of ponds. Next to the estate (in the village of Frol) near the church was the family tomb of Engelhardt.

Until the 21st century, several outbuildings, the remains of the park, the graves of the owners of the estate were preserved.
