About the movie
- Encyclopedia "Who is who in the world" notes:
“The last role of Vitsin in the film “ Shot in the Sepulcher ” is a kind of farewell to the actor with his long-standing hero Coward . Although the film has both an eccentric and dressing up, and funny tricks, the image created by the actor is more like an old clown than a traditional comedian ” [1] .
- Mikhail Pugovkin recalls the film:
“ Zaseev also wanted, like Leonid Gaidai , to do things of the Chaplinsky type, and therefore decided to repeat Gaidai and make a new three - this is Evgeny Morgunov , Spartak Mishulin and I. None of this came out. People looked at the picture and did not understand. There was no script, but most importantly, there was no movie ” [2]
