History

Cab drivers worked in Krasnoyarsk until the 1940s .

It’s hard to imagine worse than the Krasnoyarsk cab drivers; it’s impossible for them to think up a stupid fee established here. The crews are antediluvian and apparently represent the legacy of “the time of Ochakov and the conquest of Crimea [1]

In winter, urban cabmen dressed in fur hats , warm pimas and long sheepskin sheepskin coats. Fur canopies were offered to passengers to cover their legs.

In 1910, travel from Starobazarnaya Square to the railway station cost 50 kopecks. For driving within one hour - 60 kopecks.

It was planned to introduce bus service in Krasnoyarsk since 1927 .

Four buses with a capacity of 16 seats each will operate in Krasnoyarsk. Stops are supposed to be made at Starobazarnaya Square, Krasnoyarsk Lane, Revolution Square and at the station. ” [2] .

Due to the lack of technology, the introduction of a new mode of transport was delayed for several years. On August 1, 1934, bus traffic began in the city. Buses ran along the route: Railway Station - Ploshchad Enlightenment . Two buses went along Bolshaya Street (in the future, Stalin Avenue). The entire line was divided into ten stopping points. The fare was 10 kopecks per stop. Each bus was designed for 15 passengers.

In accordance with the decision of the Regional Executive Committee on August 31, 1939 (protocol No. 58) “On the organization of the Regional Directorate of Road Transport of the People’s Commissariat of Motor Transport of the RSFSR”, the Regional Directorate of Motor Transport was organized on September 5, 1939.

On September 20, 1939, the department organized six self-supporting interdistrict automobile transport offices, including Krasnoyarskaya located at 14 Stalin Avenue (now Mira Avenue). By the beginning of 1940, the Krasnoyarsk interdistrict office of vehicles had a fleet of eight buses GAZ-03-30 and 46 trucks ( ZIS-5 , ZIS-21 , GAZ-AA , GAZ-42 ) and provided transportation of passengers by three bus routes:

  1. - “Old Bazaar - Railway Station”;
  2. - "st. Surikova - Brick Factory ”;
  3. - "Railway Station - Mill".

On January 16, 1941 the city received six new buses ( ZIS-8 , ZIS-16 ) and new routes were opened: ul. Surikova - Military camp; st. Surikova - Krasmash plant - 2nd section - Bumstroy; intercity route: "Krasnoyarsk - Bolshaya Murta".

Further development of bus traffic took place after the war. In January 1946, they received four ZIS-8 buses, in 1947 four Opel trucks were converted for passenger transportation, and three new buses were received in July 1948 , which made it possible to open a route along the Right Bank: from the Bolshoi Pontoon Bridge to the Aviadom with stops: Village on August 1 - Pobezhimov Plant - Shipyard - School number 46.

In 1952-1954 , buses of obsolete brands were removed from inventory, buses of new brands ZIS-154 and ZIS-155 began to arrive at the enterprise.

The accelerated development of passenger vehicles in the city of Krasnoyarsk began. At the end of the 80s the city already had:

  • Production passenger motor transport association No. 1;
  • Passenger Transport Production Association No. 2;
  • Passenger Transport Production Association No. 3;
  • Passenger Transport Production Association No. 4;
  • Production Association of Passenger Transport No. 5.

Passenger transport enterprises, as well as all motor transport of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, were under the jurisdiction of the Krasnoyarsk Territorial Production Association of Automobile Transport TPO Krasnoyarskavtotrans. Control over the operation of passenger transport was carried out through the Central Dispatch Service of the city.

By the decision of the Krasnoyarsk City Council of People’s Deputies dated August 31, 1990, No. 391 “On the Establishment of the Commercial and Operational Service of Urban Passenger Transport in Krasnoyarsk”, a new structural unit was created that combined the city’s automobile and electric passenger transport. The enterprise was created by reducing TPO Krasnoyarskavtotrans and the tram and trolleybus control (TTU) MPO Gorzhilkomkhoz. The tasks of the enterprise included the conclusion of agreements with transport enterprises for the transportation of passengers on urban and suburban routes, control over the operation of passenger transport, the distribution of one-time coupons and tickets through a network of kiosks and the distribution of income from the sale of kiosks by enterprises. In addition, in 1992, the Department of Transport and Communications of the Administration of the city of Krasnoyarsk was created. September 1, 1998, the municipal institution "Gortranssvyaz" was established with the aim of improving transport services and providing communications to residents of the city

Subordinate to MU "Gortranssvyaz" were:

  • Municipal passenger motor transport company No. 1;
  • Municipal passenger motor transport company No. 2;
  • Municipal passenger motor transport company No. 3;
  • Municipal passenger motor transport company No. 5;
  • Municipal passenger motor transport company No. 6;
  • Municipal passenger motor transport company No. 7;
  • Municipal enterprise "Gorelektrotrans";
  • Municipal enterprise Krasnoyarskavtoremont;
  • Municipal enterprise "TsSTO".

Over the nineties, there was a decrease in financing of municipal enterprises, as a result of which the number of rolling stock going onto the line decreased. In June-July 1999, resolutions No. 337 and No. 525 “On the reorganization of municipal passenger motor transport enterprises of the city of Krasnoyarsk” were issued, according to which 3 passenger car enterprises remained: “MPATP No. 2”; "MPATP No. 6"; MPATP No. 7 and MP Gorelektrotrans. In November 1999, the Department of Transport of the city administration was organized. On December 31, 1999, in accordance with the decree of the administration of the city of Krasnoyarsk No. 844, the municipal unit "City Transport Administration", the former state institution "Gotranssvyaz", was liquidated (renamed by resolution 04.06.99 No. 299). The difficult financial situation, the impossibility of updating the rolling stock, the fire in the municipal motor transport enterprise No. 6 in January 2001, which resulted in the burnout of 41 buses, resulted in three municipal enterprises remaining in the city as of July 1, 2005:

  • MP Krasnoyarsk "KPATP No. 2";
  • MP Krasnoyarsk "KPATP No. 7";
  • MP Krasnoyarsk "Gorelectrotrans".

In 2008, the municipal enterprise of the city of Krasnoyarsk “Krasnoyarsk Passenger Motor Transport Enterprise No. 5” was established.

In 2017, due to financial difficulties, the Krasnoyarsk MP “KPATP No. 2” was closed, all rolling stock suitable for work was transferred to KPATP-5.
