Biography

Pupil of Nikolaev football. He began his professional career in 1998 in SK Nikolaev , for which he played for three and a half seasons, after which he played for three Kharkov clubs - Metalist , Arsenal and FC Kharkov (he was the team captain), as well as Donetsk Metallurgist ". In December 2008 he returned to Metalist, having signed a contract with the team for three and a half years [2] .

In the 2011/12 season , playing for Kharkov Metalist, achieved the highest European Cup achievement in his career, reaching the quarter finals of the UEFA Europa League [3] .

Following the results of the 2012/13 season, as part of Metalist, he won silver medals in the Ukrainian Championship, after which he made his debut in the Champions League , playing in the second leg against the Greek PAOK [4] .

He finished his performance at a professional level on December 11, 2014 with the Euroleague League match Metalist - Lokeren, in which he spent all 90 minutes on the field [5] .

In January 2015, he received a category “C” coaching diploma as an active footballer [6] , and in the spring of 2015 announced the completion of a professional career [7] .

On October 30, 2015, he completed the training of trainers for players with a long experience in the “A + B” program, thus becoming the holder of a coaching license in three categories - A, B and C [8] . In May 2017, Andrei Berezovchuk became a playing coach at the Volchansk club from the championship of the Kharkov region [9] . In 2018, together with the team, he won the championship of the Kharkiv region [10] .
