Story
2061 year . Heywood Floyd is 103 years old, he lives in orbit, and weightlessness extends his life. Space technology has entered the next stage of development. Space speeds increased several dozen times. The distance that the Alexey Leonov flew in 2 years was now covered in 2 months. The alien civilization that turned Jupiter into the second Sun sent a message to people: “ALL THESE WORLDS ARE YOUR EXCEPT OF EUROPE. In 2061, perhaps the most famous comet of Halley returns to Earth. An expedition is sent to the comet on the Universe ship to study it. One of the crew members is Haywood Floyd. And at the very height of the study of a comet from Earth, a message arrives. The Galaxy ship with Floyd's grandson aboard made an emergency landing on Europe . Universe is sent to help.
