Lost (season 2)

The second season of the series " Lost " began in the United States and Canada on September 21, 2005 and ended on May 24, 2006 . He continues to track over 40 survivors from Oceanic Airlines flight 815, which crashed on a desert island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean 44 days before the events described in the first episode of the season begin. [1] The producers said that if the first season was a performance of heroes, the second was about the DHARMA Initiative research station, which the survivors call the "bunker" [2] .

The second season was broadcast on Wednesdays at 21:00 in the United States. In addition to 24 episodes, three clip shows were shown describing the events of the series. Destination Lost came out before the premiere, Lost: Revelation before the tenth episode, and Lost: Reckoning before the twentieth. On September 5, 2006, a DVD edition of the season was released on 7 discs.

Content

Team

The season was filmed by Touchstone Television (now ABC Studios), Bad Robot Productions and Grass Skirt Production and was shown in the US on ABC . Executive producers were: series creator JJ Abrams , co-creators Damon Lindelof , Brian Burke , Jack Bender and Carlton Cuse [3] . The screenwriters were: Lindelof, Cuse, co-executive producer Stephen Maeda , supervisory producer Javier Grillo-Marxua , supervisory producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz , supervisory producers Leonard Dick , Jeff Lobe and Craig Wright , producers Elizabeth Sarnoff and Christina M. Permanent directors were: Bender, producer Stephen Williams , cameramen Paul Edwards and Eric Laneville .

Cast

In the second season, 15 main characters, twelve of which are familiar to the viewer in the first season. Matthew Fox plays Jack Shepard , leader of the survivors. [4] Terry O'Quinn appears as the “man of faith” John Locke [5] . The main comedian of the series - Hugo "Hurley" Reyes - was made by Jorge Garcia [6] . Josh Holloway plays the role of James “Sawyer” Ford fraudster, while Evangeline Lilly plays runaway criminal Kate Austin . Michelle Rodriguez acted as Ana-Lucia Cortes , one of the survivors of the tail of the aircraft [7] . Daniel Dae Kim plays non-English speaking Korean Gene Kwon. [8] Naveen Andrews acts as former Iraqi Republican Guard soldier Saeed Jarrah . Dominic Monaghan appears as a former drug addict Charlie Pace . Cynthia Watros as the survivor of the tail of Libby [9] . Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje plays the former drug lord who became a priest - Mr. Eco [10] . Kim Yongjin appears as Jin's English-speaking wife, Song Kwon . Emily de Ravin emerges as Clare Littleton’s new mother. Harold Perrino plays the role of Michael Dawson , whose son was abducted by Others. Maggie Grace as Shannon Rutherford , surviving the recent death of her brother Boone.

Malcolm David Kelly , who played Walt Lloyd , received a "star rate" only for those episodes in which he starred [11] . Ian Somerhalder is back as a special guest star in the role of Boone Carlisle .

Minor heroes include: L. Scott Caldwell as Rose Nadler , Mira Furlan as Daniel Russo , Fredric Lena as Edward Mars , William Mapoter as Ethan Rum , John Terry as Christian Shepard , Michael Emerson as Henry Gale , Sam Anderson as Bernard Nadler Joseph as Cindy Chandler [12] , Henry Ian Cusick as Desmond Hume [13] , M.S. like Helen Norwood , Brett Cullen as the Goodwin Stanhope , Rachel Tikotin like Theresa K rtes , Julie Bowen as the Sara Shepard , Bruce Davison as the Douglas Brooks , Alan Dale as the Charles Widmore , and Sonya Walger as Penelope Widmore .

Said proposed to Jack a plan according to which he was the first to get to the parking of the Others. There was a conflict between Mr. Eco and Locke over the appointment of a bunker. Desmond recalled his past, including an unsuccessful attempt to get out of the island.
