Barbara Kupisti ( Italian: Barbara Cupisti ; born January 24, 1962 , Viareggio , Tuscany , Italy ) is an Italian actress , as well as a director and screenwriter of documentary films.

Biography
After graduating from the classical lyceum, Barbara tried herself as a ballerina. At 18, she moved to Rome, where in 1980 she became a laureate of the di Nervi festival. However, then she entered Silvio d'Amico School of Dramatic Art.
She began her acting career with her role in the Tinto Brass film The Key. Then, for several years, she mainly starred in low-budget horror films by Italian directors Dario Argento , Michele Soavi , Umberto Lenzi and others. In the 90s, she repeatedly starred in television films.
Since 2002, she ceased to act in feature films, starting to direct documentaries. The last film by Barbara Kupisti “Forgotten childhood, forgotten dreams” was shot in Israel and the Palestinian Authority .
