History
It was founded in 1942. Spent 35 seasons in the second most powerful league championship in Sweden (as of 2018). In 2006, he entered Allsvenskan for the first time, taking third place in Superettan and in the transitional matches he beat Hecken with a total score of 4: 1. In his first season in the Premier League, he took 14th, last place with 23 points and was eliminated back to Superettan. In the 2008 season, he again took third place in Superettan, in transitional matches by the goal of the away goal, he beat Jungshile and returned to Allsvenskan.
In 2012, the team took 2nd place in Superettan , as a result of which it entered Allsvenskan .
In 2013, the team was able to take 13th place out of 16 teams and stay in Allsvenskan. Having shown one of the most disciplined games in Europe that season, according to fair play rules, the team received a ticket to the Europa League.
In 2014, despite a terrible performance in the championship and a departure from the last 16th place, contrary to forecasts, she performed quite well for herself at the European arena, having passed first the Finnish Vaasa (1-2 at a party, 2-0 at home) then the Northern Irish Crusaders (4-0 at home 1-1 away) and expectedly lost to Torino (0-3 at home 0-4 away).
According to the results of the 2015–2016 season, the team took the last place in Superettan and left the list of its participants.
However, difficult times for the team did not last long.
First, in the 2016 season, the team managed to win the First Northern Division (26 games 19 wins 6 draws 1 loss) and returned to Superettan
Then, in 2016-2017, the team managed to win in Superettan. (30 games 19 wins 6 draws 5 losses)
The striker of the club and the youth team of Sweden, Victor Gyokeres, who scored 20 goals in 48 games in these 2 seasons, showed himself most vividly in these 2 seasons.
To such triumphant results, the club was led by a famous footballer and captain of the Swedish national team Olof Melberg
In the 2018 season, the team until the last fought to save a place in Allsvenskan . Thanks to 2 consecutive wins at the finish of the season, she managed to get around “Dalkurd” and get into butt games. There are pupils of the club among the famous players of the Swedish national team, this is Ludwig Augustinsson, defender and winner of the World Youth Championship, who scored a goal for the adult national team against Mexico at the 2018 World Cup, striker Jon Guidetti plays in the Spanish “Celta” and Albin Ekdal midfielder of Hamburg and Sweden.
