The German Grand Prix of 1974 is the eleventh stage of the world championship in motor racing in the Formula 1 class of the 1974 season. Auto racing took place on August 4, 1974 on the Nurburgring highway in Germany .

"Iso-Marlborough" announced at the stage of the debutant of Formula 1 Jacques Laffitte. Larry Perkins (Amon) and Ian Ashley (Token) also made their debut in the championship. Guy Edwards recovered from his injury returned to Hill. In training before the Grand Prix, Howden Henley was injured in a serious accident, injured his leg. Two Ferrari won the qualification, Clay Regazzoni led from start to finish and won, and Nicky Lauda faced Scheckter at the start and left the race.
