Biography

At eight years old, Taylor saw his cousin retrieve guitar chords, and he also wanted to master this instrument. Instead of a guitar, he got the ukulele . Taylor switched to drums, and his father gave him drums . In 1963, Taylor and his friends founded the band Cousin Jacks , in which he was first a guitarist and then a drummer. A year later, the group broke up, and in 1965 Taylor was in the composition of Johnny Quale and the Reaction .

By this time, Taylor took an academic leave to study music. May in 1968 already received a degree in physics and studied in graduate school.
