Rokotova street (name from October 11, 1978 [1] [2] ) is a street in the South-Western administrative district of Moscow in the territory of the Yasenevo district. Named in honor of F. S. Rokotov - Russian portrait painter, academician, innovator in the field of psychological portraiture. Passes between Lithuanian Boulevard and Soloviny Passage . Length - 0.7 km. The numbering of houses is from the Nightingale Passage . Former projected passage number 5416.

History
The street originates from the end of the street of the former village of Yasenevo , where the apple orchards began, and then goes down to the spring that once hit here (today it is Soloviny Pond ) under the hill, on top of which there was a radar installation that served until the 1960s, which served air regiment in the "Red Lighthouse".
Interesting Facts
- In the episode "Just In Case" [3] of the 45th issue of the Yeralash newsreel, the young child prodigy gets on the bus of the 167th route at the Rokotova Street 8 stop. It is noteworthy that this bus route never ran along this street.
Transport
Bus routes 264, 639, 642 run along the entire street in the direction from Soloviny Passage to Lithuanian Boulevard; in the opposite direction - routes 639, 642, 642-K.
