70's Robot Anime Geppy-X is a computer game released on the fifth-generation Sony Playstation . It was released only for Japan on May 27, 1999 . The game is a parody of the popular anime series of the 1970s, in particular, the anime "Super Robot", created by the author Guo Nagai. In addition to instrumental music, real songs by famous Japanese artists such as Kageyama Hironobu and MIO were also recorded. Each level is accompanied by the opening and ending performed by Isao Sasaki (who also recorded the opening and ending for the anime of Guo Nagai and Ken Ishikawa Getter Robo, as well as for the series “UFO Robot Grendizer”). According to the authors, the game should give the player the feeling that he is watching an anime series on television. The game has three endings, depending only on the decision of the player.
