DAF 55 - a small family car brand DAF , which appeared in December 1967 . Produced in sedan , wagon and coupe . It was the first car DAF, completed with in-line 4-cylinder engine with water cooling.

DAF 55 coupe
C 1971 produced a sports version of MARATHON with the same engine, but with a power of 63 hp.
In 1972, the replacement of 55 models came 66 . A total of 153,263 “simple” DAF 55 and 10,967 “Marathons” were released.
