Biography

Born in the family of an artisan.

Conducted a revolutionary work in Perm , Yekaterinburg , in factories and mines of the Urals.

Since 1917 - member of the Yekaterinburg Committee of the RSDLP (b) , headed by the board of propagandists. After the October Revolution, he worked as secretary of the city duma, secretary of the executive committee of the Yekaterinburg District Council of Workers 'and Soldiers' Deputies, member of the Uralobkom RSDLP (b) , then his secretary.

In 1918, an ordinary fighter of the communist battalion went to the front. He died in battle with the White Guards.

On November 6, 1919, Uspenskaya Street of Yekaterinburg was named Weiner. The choice was not accidental: in the house of a merchant Telegin (Uspenskaya, 12) there was a representative office of the insurance company "Russia" , whose agent was L. I. Weiner. Here he met with the Ural revolutionaries, hence he led the revolutionary struggle of the proletariat. Here one time and lived.
