About the album

The album came out in two versions - on the label “BECAR Records” not for sale in Moscow and on the label “REC Records” with a modified track list without track No. 15 ( “Album Presentation” ).

In 1997, it was rewritten as a remake of the album, in which the instrumental part underwent significant changes - the hard-rock guitar sound was diluted with a more industrial and synthesizer one.

Additional Information

  • In the song “Abortion or childbirth” for the chorus, the quotation of the song “Will and Mind” from the repertoire of the Aria and Master rock bands was used, as well as the guitar riff from the AC / DC song Rock 'n' roll damnation .
  • In the song " Angel of Sex ", the main soundtrack for the film " Gentlemen of Fortune " (1971) was used as the introduction and first loss after the chorus.
  • The song "Pop Song" refers to popular pop hits, singers and the VIA of the 80s of the XX century. Mentioned in contrast to the stage names of Russian rock bands. An interesting paradox is the line "Where is Civil Defense?" - But there is no mention of it ... ". The fact is that this group after a three-year break was just reunited.
  • In the composition “Album Presentation” , the soundtrack of the final titles of the movie “ Tiger 's Claw ” (1991) was used as background music.
  • Instead of “live” drums and bass guitar, the recording used the Roland D-20 synthesizer, the sound module E-mu Proteus 1.
  • Due to the fact that Yuri (Khoi) Klinskih did not control the typographical process, inaccurate information was printed on booklets of tapes, plates and discs from year to year: the wrong composition of the group, photos not corresponding to the chronology were published, dates and names were mixed up somewhere. So this album was not without similar blunders.

The album is a remake of the album of the same name, recorded in 1993 in the Voronezh studio Black Box, and contains cover versions of their own songs written in the second half of the 80s.

... This album features songs from the band's very first album, recorded in 1987 *. Ten years later, thanks to new recording technologies, we gave them a new life ...
Yuri “Khoi” Klinsky, introduction to the 1997 gas sector album [1]

* Note. Perhaps a reservation / typo by Yuri Khoi himself, or even earlier demos were meant.

Unlike the 1989 Plow-Woogie album, this album also includes songs from another album, the Kolkhoz Punk, which was released in 1989, and is superior to earlier versions in recording quality. Unlike the 1993 album, which was dominated by hard rock guitar riffs , this album has a different sound concept - synth-industrial sound prevails here. In addition, this album did not include the tracks “Introduction” and “Presentation of Albums” that were present on the 1993 album “Gas Sector”. The album was released as part of the Collection series (December 1997), it does not have the original cover and is the only album in this series without remixes.
