Slednevo is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Safonovsky district . The population is 4 inhabitants ( 2007 ) [1] . It is located in the central part of the region, 7 km west of the city of Safonov , 0.5 km south of the M1 “Belarus” highway, on the banks of the Peremcha River. 3.5 km south-west of the village is the Vysegor railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line . It is part of the Visegorsk rural settlement.

History
Mentioned in the scribal books of the XVII century as the estate of the noblemen of the Islenevs [2] . During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in September 1941 , liberated in 1943 . [3]
Famous People
- February 16, 1893 in the village, in the former estate of Aleksandrovskoye, a Soviet military leader, Marshal of the Soviet Union Tukhachevsky, Mikhail Nikolaevich was born.
