Housekeeping is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Safonovsky district . The population is 56 inhabitants ( 2007 ) [1] . It is located in the central part of the region west of the city of Safonov , 1 km south of the Belarus highway M1 . 2.5 km south-west of the village is the Maksimovo railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line . It is part of the Visegorsk rural settlement.
