“Steal This Album!” (Translated from English - “Steal this album!”) Is System of a Down's third studio album, released on November 26, 2002 . Before the release, there was a leak, and medium-quality mp3 files with songs from this album appeared on the Internet, which served as the basis for its name; at the same time, the title of the record is a reference to the famous book by Abby Hoffman, “ Copy this book ” (Eng. Steal This Book ). The packaging for this album is original - a box without a booklet, and the disc looks like a regular blank CD, just bought in a store. The name of the group and album on the disc is allegedly written with a marker, which was made specifically to imitate pirated products.

In the UK and the United States, four alternative disc covers and covers were available for a limited time. Different options, presumably, were developed by different members of the team. The first version of the cover is a solid blue background with concentrically converging text. On the second - the image of a black stylized fire pattern on a red background. The third on a black background depicts a gray skull with a letter in his mouth. The fourth, and perhaps the most controversial, depicts two crossed V-shaped patterns, possibly alluding to legs, dressed in blue jeans and red tights, respectively, with white stripes in red stripes, and implying " Uncle Sam " and the Queen of Great Britain . These covers are very rare.
