Shamshi-Adad IV - the youngest son of Tiglathpalasar I. According to the “ ”, before his accession to the Assyrian throne, he was in Babylonia (in the Assyrian documents - ). He seized power by eliminating his nephew Erib-Adad II [1] . Very little is known about the four-year reign of Shamshi-Adad IV. It is only mentioned that he restored one of the destroyed temples.
