Biography
He was born on August 25, 1917 in the village of Staromikhailovka, now Donetsk region (according to other sources, in Yuzovka is now the city of Donetsk ). He graduated from junior high school. He worked at the mine. Russian.
In the Red Army from 1938 to 1940 and from 1944 . During the Great Patriotic War he fought as part of the 4th Ukrainian , 1st Baltic , 2nd and 3rd Belorussian fronts .
Red Army soldier Alexander Udodov distinguished himself on May 9, 1944 in a battle in the area of 178.2 altitude on the outskirts of Sevastopol . Having approached the enemy bunker and threw grenades at it, Udodov saw that he could not suppress the firing point, and then closed the bunker embrasure with his body. He was seriously injured, but survived.
In 1944, after being cured in a hospital, he was demobilized.
He lived in Donetsk . He worked at the mine. He died on February 10, 1985 .
Rewards
