The Robber (Clipper, 1878)

The robber is a Russian sail-screw clipper (cruiser of the 2nd rank) of the fourth series (of the "Cruiser" type). Built at the Nevsky Shipyard in St. Petersburg by builder P. A. Titov , supervising the construction - ship engineer captain N. A. Subbotin .

  • October 21, 1879 - He went to the Far East as part of the detachment of captain 1st rank M.P. Novosiltsev.
  • August 29, 1880 - In Vladivostok, joined the squadron S. S. Lesovsky .
  • September 1881 - Returned to the Baltic, where he began to repair to replace boilers.

  • December 1902 - Sailing with combatant quartermasters to the islands of the Malacca archipelago.
  • January 1, 1903 - Transferred from the 18th naval crew of the Baltic Fleet to the Kwantung naval crew.
  • December 10, 1903 - The last of the Russian ships visited Nagasaki before the Russo-Japanese War.
