History
In June 2005, the first phase of the Purovsky condensate processing plant (Purovsky ZPK) was commissioned. This is the first enterprise built over the past 15 years in the field of processing natural resources in the post-Soviet space and the third in a row in the Tyumen region (the Surgut plant and SIBUR Tobolsk are already operating in the region).
Purovsky ZPK is intended for the processing of deethanized hydrocarbon condensate of gas condensate fields of Novatek Production Plant: East Tarkosalinsky, Khancheysky, Yurkharovsky, as well as (in the future) fields of the Olympic license area.
In 2007, the Purovsky ZPK processed about 2.1 million tons of unstable gas condensate, produced more than 1.5 million tons of stable gas condensate and 554 thousand tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). In 2008, the second phase of the Purovsky condensate processing plant was put into commercial operation. As a result, its capacity was increased to 5 million tons per year.
Purovsky ZPK is located near the East Tarkosalinsky field - in the Purovsky district of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, in the Limbey region (475th kilometer of the Surgut-Urengoy railway section, 20 km north of Purovsk station).
In 2013, the third phase of the plant was launched, built by large builders of CJSC Trest Koksokhimmontazh and OJSC Vostokneftezavodmontazh Joint-Stock Company. On January 16, 2014, NOVATEK announced the completion of a project to expand the capacity of the Purovsky ZPK from 5 to 11 million tons per year as a result of putting into commercial operation the last two (out of four) new technological lines for stabilization of gas condensate with a total capacity of 3 million tons per year.
In 2017, the plant processed 65 million tons of gas condensate and 11.4 thousand tons of deethanized gas condensate. Compared to 2016, the processing volume has decreased by 7.7%. In 2017, 8.8 thousand tons of stable gas condensate, 2.5 thousand tons of a wide fraction of light hydrocarbons and liquefied petroleum gas were produced. The volume of production of regenerated methanol is 16.5 thousand tons [1] . According to data at the beginning of 2019, since the launch, the company has processed 80 million tons of deethanized gas condensate [2] .
