The Novosibirsk District is an administrative-territorial unit of the Siberian Territory that existed in 1925-1930 .

Novonikolayevsky district was formed on December 9, 1925 from Novikolayevsky , Kargatsky and part of the Cherepanovsky districts of the Novonikolayevsky province . The city of Novonikolayevsk was appointed the center of the district. The district was divided into 20 districts:
- Alekseevsky district . Center - the village Alekseevskoe
- Baksinsky district . Center - the village of Pikhtovka
- Berd district . Center - the village of Berdsk
- Bugri district . Center - the village of Bugry
- Vyunsky district . Center - the village of Vyuny
- Gutovsky district . Center - Gutovo village
- Inder area . Center - Inder village
- Kamensky district . Center - the village of Kamenka
- Kargatsky district . Center - the village of Kargat
- Karpysak district . Center - Karpysak village
- Kolyvan district . Center - Kolyvan village
- Kourak district . Center - Kourak Village
- Kochenevsky district . Center - Kochenevo village
- Legostaevsky district . Center - the village of Legostaevo
- Maslyaninsky district . Center - Maslyanino village
- Horde area . Center - Ordynskoe village
- Oyashinsky district . Center - Oyash settlement

In 1926, Novonikolayevsk was renamed to Novosibirsk, and the district to Novosibirsk.
On September 26, 1927, the Bitkovsky District , transferred from the Kamensky District, was included in the district .
May 8, 1929 instead of 20 districts 15 were formed:
- Alekseevsky district
- Baksinsky district
- Berd district
- Bitkovsky district
- Vassinsky district
- Inder district
- Kargatsky district
- Kolyvan district
- Kochenevsky district
- Nikonovsky district
- Novosibirsk district
- Orda region
- Uzhankhinsky district
- Cherepanovsky district
- Chulym district
On June 20, 1930, Indersky district was renamed to the Dovolensky district , and the village of Dovolnoe was appointed its center.
On July 30, 1930, the Novosibirsk District , like most of the other districts of the USSR, was abolished. Its districts moved to the direct subordinate of the West Siberian Territory .
The population of the district in 1926 was 794.5 thousand people. Of these, Russians are 83.1%; Ukrainians - 7.6%; Belarusians - 4.7%; Mordvinians - 1.3%.
