“Non - Traveling Notes” is a travel television program in which its author and presenter, Dmitry Krylov , talks about his impressions of different countries in which he visited with the film crew. The program has been on Channel One since 1996 [1] . At the time of its appearance, this was the first telecast of a similar format after the Travelers Club . Start Impressions

The first film of the four episodes was shot in 1991 and was called "Non-Traveling Notes or from London with Love" [3] [4] . Then for five years, “Notes” came out as new material appeared. The London series was followed by broadcasts about West Berlin , Istanbul , Athens , Malta , Venice , Barcelona , Rome , Naples , Genoa , Nice , Sicily . After the Mediterranean broadcasts, a cycle about America was released - twelve episodes were released under the general title “Traveling with Sonya in Search of America”, in which the film crew of the program visited Florida , New York and Boston .

Program Progress

During the program, the presenter tells the audience about a particular country - with the obligatory mention of local attractions, ancient legends and legends. In addition, each program also includes panoramic views and views, as well as a demonstration of culinary delights [5] . In addition, some issues also contain information for tourists [6] - about the peculiarities of local legislation [7] , prices [8] or the behavior of residents. The program was also distinguished from others by an ironic presentation of the material [9] .

Throughout the existence of the program, its film crew managed to travel around the world, and in 2002 it reached the North Pole [2] . According to Krylov, he is not only the host of his program, but also independently writes scripts for it, selects music, removes and mounts the program [10] , and “he does not go to those countries that are not interesting to him” [11] .

"Children's" look

The film about Denmark included not only the “adult” look of Dmitry Krylov, but also the impressions of the six-year-old Mitya, the author’s son. According to Channel One, this program attracted special attention of viewers. Subsequently, Krylov used a similar move several more times - in series about Greece , the Caribbean and Disney World in Orlando .

Music

From 1996 to 2001, the song “ You Never Can Tell ” performed by Chuck Berry sounded in the TV screens.
