Story

Intro saver :

The story we want to tell happened in that sultry summer, when the broad readership was carried away by a new detective-adventure novel by the famous crime writer GENIAN GREEN "Deadly Murder."

In the hot summer of 1982, the protagonist of the film, Kostya Lukov, travels in a train to Yuzhnogorsk (a fictional city). In the compartment, in addition to Kostya, three more people. The first is the shadow businessman Alexander Alexandrovich Murashko, who always takes on the importance of himself and pretends to be a “state man”. The second is a young tourist, Misha Golubev. The third is the girl Tanya Pegova, who is going to rest and to meet her fiancé who is waiting for her. All four of them read the same fashionable detective novel , The Deadly Murder of the writer Genian Zeleny, and all four, thus, possess exactly the same books from the same edition.

An acquaintance will take place; then Kostya’s petty embarrassment takes place, which “was guilty” before a fellow traveler: avidly reading the book of Genian Zeleny, Kostya, absent-mindedly, did not notice how he had eaten all the provisions of Tanya. He is trying to make amends by buying her a symbolic gift - a Sportloto ticket. Tanya, not hoping for a win at all, crosses out the first six numbers in the ticket, after which she gives Kostya the coupon "for storage", claiming that she herself will definitely lose the coupon. Kostya, however, himself is distinguished by a certain carelessness and senselessness, as a result, he casually puts the coupon between the pages of his book “Deadly Murder”, and then, absent-mindedly, going out of the train will take not his book.

Upon arrival in Yuzhnogorsk, compartment companions part. Kostya goes to live in his aunt's house, and by chance, speculators also get there - San Sanych Murashko with his accomplice Stepan. However, for the time being, Kostya and speculators do not know that they live in the same house and do not meet with each other, since the entrances to their living quarters are from different sides (from speculators from the street, at Kostya from the alley). In the future, Kostya is resting, and speculators are selling oranges on the market. Tanya Pegova goes to the “32nd kilometer”, where the “parking lot” is located, where Pavel, her fiancée is waiting for her, and also is engaged in rest in the future. Misha Golubev is going to the Eagle Shelter tourist center.

Tanning on the beach, Kostya accidentally stumbles upon a piece of newspaper with the results of the lottery and with considerable surprise sees that the combination of numbers Tanya won the main prize - 20 thousand rubles. He rushes home and checks his book "Deadly Murder", but the ticket is not there. According to the inscription on the title page of the book - “A. A. Murashko ”- he understands that by absentmindedness, leaving the car, he captured not his book, but San Sanych. Kostya's chagrin has no limits, but he does not lose hope. Bearing in mind that San Sanych, in his own words, works in the same city, Kostya decides to go in search of Alexander Alexandrovich Murashko the next morning.

At the same time, San Sanych, who lives in the same house, also finds out according to information in the newspaper that his fellow traveler in the train, Tanya, won 20 thousand. San Sanych knows that the coupon is at Kostya’s - he was present in the compartment when Tanya gave Kostya her coupon. After discussing this situation with his accomplice Stepan San Sanych, in the end, he decides to find Kostya in order to blackmail him. San Sanych hopes to share the winnings with Kostya, and Tanya, the legitimate winner of the lottery, will be left “out of work”. Otherwise, he will submit a statement to the police to him, telling everything as it really was. Thus, it turns out that Kostya and San Sanych almost simultaneously go to look for each other.

However, Stepan, who at that time was on the market trading in citrus fruits, discovers Kostya first. Having thrown his trade, he “sat on the tail” of Kostya, traced his whole way to the house, which San Sanych then reports. Together they repeat Kostya all the way home. Since the entrance to the pantry, where Kostya lives, is on the other side, rogues still do not understand that they live in the same house with Kostya. Noticing that Kostya was out, San Sanych orders Stepan to get into his pantry without a noise, find a book and pick up a ticket. Stepan walks in there, finds a book, but without a coupon. At this time, Kostya returns. He notices San Sanych and Kostya’s joys have no limits - he himself was looking for him! Only here it is revealed, finally, that they live in the same house. Kostya immediately tells San Sanychu about everything that happened and invites him to look for a ticket in his book. San Sanych agrees, however, as far as possible, pulls time and makes hints to Stepan, who at this time is still in Kostya’s storeroom. Finally, in a roundabout way, San Sanych brings Kostya to his room. Together they check the book of San Sanych, but the ticket is not there either. San Sanych hopes that the ticket was still there, but Stepan managed to withdraw it. Kostya, he explains, that the book with the winning coupon is now either at Tanya’s own, or at the fourth passenger of the compartment, Misha Golubev. Kostya agrees with this and enthusiastically declares that he immediately goes in search of them. After that Kostya and San Sanych say goodbye.

Stepan reports to San Sanych that the voucher was not in both books - both in the one that was in Kostya’s storage room and in the one that was in San Sanych’s suitcase. The latter, not fully trusting his assistant, subjects him to “torture with oranges,” forcing him to confess that he was the one who appropriated the ticket. However, Stepan stands his ground, and San Sanych, in the end, is forced to stop the torture and to proceed from the fact that Stepan did not assign a coupon.

Almost simultaneously, Kostya and the fraudsters are moving forward in search of the missing ticket (while Kostya, of course, is unaware of "competitors"). First, they decide to find Tanya as more accessible (it is closer to the city than Misha Golubev). Kostya goes to the parking lot of savages on the ground, and speculators - by sea, on a motorboat. Arriving at the camp, San Sanych orders Stepan to secretly climb the shore, enter Tanya’s tent and steal the ticket. Stepan tries to do it, but for a long time he does not even manage to approach the tent. At this time Kostya arrives at the camp. There is his explanation with Tanya and her fiance. There is no talon in the book of Tanya, and together young people make a plan for further actions. By the method of exclusion, it is now possible to correctly assume that the book with the winning coupon was taken by Misha Golubev, the fourth passenger in the compartment. Kostya and Tanya know where Misha went after the train - to the Eagle Shelter camp site. They decide to go there, especially since there is a transport - Pavel has his own car .

Stepan overheard their conversation at that time, as reported by San Sanych later. San Sanych was expecting Stepan to return in the boat, but the anchor broke off and was carried off into the sea. San Sanych fails to start the engine and, with annoyance, he tows into the city alone, without waiting for Stepan. Not finding San Sanych at the appointed place, Stepan returns to the city on foot. The next morning, the rogues are also moved to the “Eagle Shelter” hostel, on the heels of Kostya, Tanya and Pavel.

The latter are not all right with the car, and they have to stop on the road and spend a lot of time for repairs. Kostya the driver himself and coped with this task. Pavel does not hide his hostility towards Kostya - both because he lost Tannin's coupon, and because he is jealous of Tanya. Thanks to their delay in transit, rogues manage to keep up with them and keep them in sight. Although they themselves have lost a lot of time, refusing to continue riding a passing motorcycle with its extremely dashing jigit driver.

Arriving at the Orliny Shelter, the young people, with the help of explanations from the base’s director and his secretary, find out that Misha Golubev is on the way, on route number 7, after which he must go to the station Mangal and go home by rail. There is only one way to catch up with him - to go by the shorter route no. 4. In this case, if there are no delays, Kostya and the company will have to leave before the group of Misha at the station Mangal and wait for him there.

No sooner said than done. Young people follow route no. 4, and rogues follow their tracks. On the way, there is a growing tensions caused by Paul’s dislike for Kostya, and the rift between Paul and Tanya is ripening. At one of the sites, when the young people rested, and the crooks were nearby, the latter managed to eavesdrop on their conversation. Now San Sanych and Stepan know everything - both the final destination and the departure time of the train by Misha Golubev. There is no point in waiting, and the scammers decide to get ahead. However, in the future they overdo it. Wanting to confuse young people, rogues knock pointers off the pole, but as a result of Stepan’s stupidity, who did not remember the direction of the desired route, now they themselves don’t know exactly where to go. The matter ends with the fact that they return to the starting point, that is, they again find themselves behind the Bones group. Meanwhile, Kostya himself managed to recover the signs on the pole and leads his group along the correct route. Subsequently, rogues set fire to the bridge across the gorge, but due to the sudden appearance of a wild bear, they are forced to come back and again do not reach any benefits - now both they and the Bones group are forced to go around the longer route. San Sanych comes up with a new plan. He leaves Stepan, allegedly ill, on the road in order to delay the movement of Kostya’s group, while he himself quickly goes to the station Mangal. Stepan, who has never been seen in person before by the trinity, succeeds in significantly delaying the movement of Kostya’s group. At this time between young people there is a new conflict. Kostya offers Tanya and Pavel to stay with the wounded, and he himself, he says, will quickly reach Mangal alone and will have time to intercept Misha Golubev. Pavel does not agree with this, since he does not trust Kostya, believing that he will not return to them if he finds a ticket. His endless flat jokes and distrust of people makes Tanya angry, and in the end she tells Paul that she is tired of her. She says that she will leave for Kostya Mangal with Kostya, and Pavel is told to stay with the wounded. Paul has no choice but to agree. At this time, a dashing Georgian motorcyclist, who had previously met San Sanych and Stepan, was driving along the road. Realizing that Paul is now asking a motorcyclist to take a wounded man to Mangal, Stepan simply runs away, since he would not have endured a second trip with this hard-wearing motorcyclist. Pavel asks the motorcyclist to take him to Mangal, and they are going there.

Meanwhile, San Sanych is on the way to Mangal. He goes to the railway crossing, now only 3 km to Mangal along the cross ties (and along the highway - one kilometer more). The case ends with the fact that San Sanych (on his own two feet) and Pavel (on a motorcycle) are just at the same time getting to the train and entering the right car from different sides. Both are looking for a coupe where Misha is going. At the same time, they find a compartment, look in there and see the book "Deadly Murder" lying on a table. At this moment a gust of wind blows out of the window and the ticket flies out of the open book. San Sanych and Pavel at the same time trying to catch him on the fly, there is their kind of fight for the ticket. But they do not succeed: alas, the coupon flies out of the car through an open window.

And what about Tanya from Kostya? They are safely late for the train. They go to the aforementioned transfer at a time when the train is already approaching it, and the train does not stop here. Frustration from the loss of material wealth is brightened for them by the acquisition of spiritual wealth - happiness and love. It is at this moment that young people confess each other and kiss. And the train is already flying by, and the ticket with 20 thousand that has flown out of the compartment of Misha Golubev quietly drops into the kettle, which Kostya holds in his hand.

  • По утверждению Луизы Мосендз , её встретила в коридоре ассистентка по актёрам, которая тут же отвела девушку к Гайдаю, а тот едва её увидев сказал «Да», тем самым утвердив на роль Аллы Дмитриевны [3] .

Criticism
