According to the “ ”, Tiglath-Pileser II, son and heir of Ashur-resh-ishi II , reigned for 32 years [1] . Despite such a long reign, very little is known about him. At that time, Assyria, squeezed by Urartu , the Aramaeans and Babylonia , occupied a small territory and did not possess military power.
