Zuluf

Zuluf is a large oil field in Saudi Arabia . Located in the Gulf . Opened in 1965 . Mastering began in 1973 . The initial oil reserves of 2.0 billion tons.

Oil-bearing capacity is associated with Cretaceous sediments. Deposits at a depth of 1.7 - 1.8 km. The density of oil is 870 kg / m³, the viscosity is 4.8 cP, the sulfur content is 2.5%.

The field is operated by Saudi Aramco, the Saudi national oil company. Oil production in 2016 amounted to 20 million tons.
