Tagarka is a special camping cart of the Ural fishermen; half of an ordinary cart is closed by a semicircle from a splint , which is smoked and made completely waterproof; on top of the lubok, from the front, open and facing the horse, is attached a cuff made of home-made waterproof material and in this improvised carriage the fisherman finds refuge both on the way and at the place of fishing in bad weather in autumn and spring; there he retains bread, clothing, and camping gear. If we take into account that the Ural fishermen had, according to the special conditions of their fishing, twice a year (in spring and autumn) to make a journey of 1000 miles back and forth, then the significance of this camp cart will be quite clear.
