Kamerovskaya railway is a railway that existed from April 1, 1979 to January 22, 1997 (headquartered in Kemerovo ).

The Kemerovo Railway was formed by the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR No. 1091 of December 28, 1978 as a result of the separation of the West Siberian Railway from the structure. Government Resolution No. 1562 of December 19, 1996 and Directive of the Ministry of Railways of the Russian Federation 9 β RU dated January 13, 1997, since January 22, 1997, the Kemerovo Railway was merged with the West Siberian Railway and reorganized into the Kuzbass branch (after the administrative-territorial reforms of the Russian Railways 2010 - region) of the West-Siberian Railway

Road Feature
The road was located on the territory of Kemerovo and Tomsk regions . Management of the road was in Kemerovo . The operational length of the road for 1990 was about 2,000 km, including the line from Bely Yar to Tashtagol - 1,015 km. The road consisted of 3 departments: Taiginskoye, Belovskoye and Novokuznetskoye. The largest road junctions are Tomsk , Taiga , Yurga , Topki , Kemerovo , Leninsk-Kuznetsky , Belovo , Artyshta , Novokuznetsk . About 80% of the total length of the road was electrified. Electric locomotives performed 97% of the transportation work. On the road, electric locomotives VL10 and VL10 y were used .
The road was the most important transit highway , servicing the largest coal mines , mines and mines of Kuzbass , metallurgical concentrating plants, enterprises of the chemical and engineering industry, construction industry, powerful thermal power plants .

From the center and the southern regions of Kuzbass, the road had access to Abakan , Novosibirsk and Barnaul . The length of the latitudinal direction of the road from Toguchin through Belovo and Novokuznetsk to Mezhdurechensk is 400 km.
History of construction and electrification of road sections
One of the oldest in terms of construction is the Kolchugin line between the stations Yurga and Kuznetsky-Sibirskiy . This road was started in 1913 , extended to Usyati station in 1925 .
In 1917, the construction of the line Kuznetsk - Telbes began , in the 20th of the XX century, this line was completed. In the 30s of the 20th century, the Novosibirsk - Leninsk , Kuznetsk - Temirtau sections and the second tracks on the Proektnoye - Usyaty section were laid , and the construction of the Mundybash - Tashtagol line began (commissioned in 1941 ); The Kemerovo - Barzas branch was commissioned.
In 1937, the first Belovo - Novokuznetsk railway section was electrified in Siberia.
In 1952, the Artyshta - Altai line was commissioned. In 1958 the Taiga - Marsh section was electrified. In the 50s of the 20th century, the Novokuznetsk - Abakan line was put into operation, and the electrification of the most heavily loaded lines continued, ending with the introduction of electric traction in the Taiga - Mariinsk section. C. In the 60s of the 20th century, paths were laid to new mineral deposits, and the electrification of road sections continued.
In 1964, construction began on the largest tunnel in Western Siberia on the Artyshta - Podobas line ( Tomusinsky tunnel ), which gave direct access to the Central Siberian railway. A new access to Transsib was received in 1986 , when the Barzas - Anzherskaya section was commissioned, which reduced the coal compositions from the Kemerovo and Berezovsky mines by almost 300 km.
